nascent naval gazing, with salient sight
sparing, my tongue cradled by cable, I bite
restricting my veins and making it tight
craving made my brain retain radiant light
gradient white lines, assailing the night
to no avail, arbitrary shapes, shaping a life
taking shape takes a mammalien might
calm circadian rhythm is arranging it right
failing to fight, and already ready to rot
fortune tellers foretell the trajectory’s stop
destiny descends, from the belly to flop
during a dance with the devil, heretics hop
the tides are turning, temperature’s hot
strong smoke rising from a vegetable crop
decadent dollop upon delectable drops
I scream because I see the cherries on top
